NKNU Ph.D. Qualifying Exam

Description

• Four subjects are required for Ph.D. Qualifying examination.

• The Category of Language Teaching, students should select one major filed and 2minor fields. Three subjects are from the major fields and one subject from the minor.
• For the division of British and American Literature students should choose one from the fields of British and American literature as the major and others as the minor. Two subjects are chose from the major field and one subject will be from the minor fields. (The examination reference lists are based on the two courses of the PhD programs)
• Qualifying exam is allowed to apply separately. One major subject for the first application should be included and the exam should be completed within two semesters.
