Books, Scholarly Journals and Audio-visual Materials:
All reference sources are housed in the library, mainly divided into three categories: English and American Literature (poetry, drama, fiction . . . etc.), Linguistics, and TESOL. Designated reference books, professional books and books for research are also included.

All journal materials, also categorized into Linguistics, Literature and TESOL, are shelved in Western Periodicals Reading Room at the 4^th floor of the library. Audio-visual materials are in the library, and available for all faculty and students.  

Language Laboratory:

 The Department is equipped with two audio-visual labs, provided for courses in listening and speaking, pronunciation, language practice and grouping teaching.

First Audio-visual Lab:

With a capacity of 38 students, first audio-visual lab is equipped with digital broadcast teaching system for interactive activities, such as recording and computer teaching.

Facilities:

A set of digital broadcast teaching system, 38 PCs for students, one LCD projector with a 120-inch screen.

Second Audio-visual Lab:

With a capacity of 52 students, second audio-visual lab is equipped with a microcomputer-based control system. In addition to language learning function, it also provides computers and peripheral equipment for computer teaching.

Facilities:

The lab contains a set of microcomputer-based control system with 52 PCs for students, one LCD projector with a 120-inch screen.

Creative-Interactive Classroom:

With a capacity of 40 students, creative-interactive classroom is available for flexible seating arrangement to meet the need of teaching.

Facilities:

A set of MTC (Multimedia Teaching Controller) with computer, amplifier, and control panel, 2 LCD projectors, one computer, one full-height sliding whiteboard, and 2 TV sets.

Multimedia Classroom:

With a capacity of 70 students, multimedia classroom is available for small or medium convention, speech, international academic seminars and film screening. 

Facilities:

Raked seating, there is a set of MTC (Multimedia Teaching Controller) with a computer, an amplifier, a control panel, Blu-ray player, 7.1 channel amplifier, an LCD projector, a sliding whiteboard, and a 150-inch screen.

Graduate Seminar Room:

The Department has 3 seminar rooms, each with capacity for 15 students, available for meetings and discussions.

Graduate Computer Classroom:

The room has a seating capacity of 8 students for computer teaching and providing a well environment for graduate students to pursue research in support of the program degree.

Facilities:

There are 9PCs, a set of digital broadcast teaching system, and an LCD projector.

Mini Theatre:

It is available for student to perform or to hold international academic seminars and concert, presentation, screening film and small gathering.

Facilities:

With a stage and capacity for 210 people, one LCD projector with a 200-inch screen, lighting control, a theater console, and a digital desk.
